Welcome to the 2010-2011 school year!
I am thrilled to continue as the Principal of Dunlop Public School and look forward to working with your children and the community over the next year.
I was very happy to be part of the Dunlop community over the course of last year. The school and community are vibrant and hard working and I take pride in saying that I am the Principal of the school. I have been blessed to be able to work with so many wonderful educators while here. The students of Dunlop are certainly blessed to have them be a part of their educational journey.
Many who came to know me last year understand how important family is to me. A visit to my office will see many photos of my daughters and wife. I take very seriously the commitment that we share to the raising of our children. I have entrusted my daughters to their teachers and I know how that feels as a parent. I deeply respect the role that I have as you entrust your children to us. We will do the very best to make sure your child grows academically and socially so that they can become “the change you want to see” in the world.
As many of you know, I have adopted the phrase “Be the change you want to see” as something I try to live my life by. I say this everyday on the announcements and truly believe that we all need to live our day to day lives trying to make the world we live in a better place. If we do this, I believe, our children will inherit the world we have in a better state.
I hope that every one of you takes away many wonderful memories from the 2010/2011 school year. And remember, “Be the change you want to see.”
Yours in Education,
Andrew C. Nordman, OCT
